The Village

By staying at Villa Marciano you will find out an infinite number of reasons to choose Colle San Magno as a destination for your perfect holiday. Whatever the reason of your stay in the village, you will soon notice that history, art, nature and gastronomy are a perfect combination for a holiday in the shadow of Mount Cairo. In particular we recommend visiting:

the eighteenth-century church of Saint Magno Bishop and Martyr, in the historic centre, which preserves the remains of the hermit Homo Bono and the relic of Saint Magno of Trani, Patron of the village;

the church of Santa Maria Assunta in Cielo, which stands at the top of Mount Asprano, with frescoes from the eighteenth century;

the ruins of the castle of Castrum Coeli, from which visitors can enjoy an enchanting view over the Liri Valley;

the old town, called the Citadel, with typical arches and alleys that make the town a small jewel of the Southern Lazio Region;

the medieval tower overlooking the village.

In addition, for nature lovers, Colle San Magno is the ideal location for hiking and horse riding.
